In a scathing editorial @DevinNunes hometown paper who has endorsed him since 2002 just threw their support for @JanzforCongress

The papers editorial board gives a long, detailed explanation of policies that drove it to support the moderate Janz.
It also cracked on Nunes for supporting arty orthodoxy even when it would hurt his districtfor example with his votes to undermine Obamacare.
Nunes did this despite the fact that his district has more people relying on government-paid medical assistance than almost anywhere else in the nation, The Bee writes.

(492 posts)I hope those people read their paper. I sure saw lots of big posters of his along the farmers fences.for Nunes. That would be huge for him to lose.

(15,013 posts)More realistic way to get rid of Nunes is to win the majority. Once Dems control the committee and he's no longer useful in shielding Trump maybe he'll get primaried (if he's not in jail, that is).

(36,469 posts)The endorsement of Janz is just the icing on the cake.
The Fresno Bee has a modest liberal bias at best, and all the pubs claim to never, ever, read it.....but, well, they do read it.
This ding on Nunes could translate to another Janz bounce in the polls, and if I was a betting man, I'd say Nunes will claim the Fresno Bee is just fake news....again.
