Trump-voting Republican neighbor after Kavanaugh confirm: "I'm voting straight-ticket Dem."

She's been talking to me for years about politics and listens but would always just go back to voting Republican. To be honest, I'm usually very impatient and a bit nasty to anyone who was a Trump supporter or a Repub. For some reason, I would not "go off" on her because she's been my neighbor for so long and always seemed close to voting Dem.
I, myself was pretty non-political and sort of an Indy (voted for George H. W. Bush) until the Clarence Thomas hearings. I was outraged and have never voted for a Republican again, even working on numerous campaigns for Dems.
We are two women who were changed by these nominations and I'm sure there are more out there who are now voting Dem. because of this.
