Too sweet for me and that's saying something. Everyone says you have to eat them while they're still warm from the fryer and I've not done that. I guess I don't even WANT to like them if they're that addicting.

They are ok, but in the infrequent times I eat donuts, I get Dunkin or a local choice.

And I'd take a homemade scone over a donut any day. Unfortunately there probably way more fat in scones, so much butter.

That makes me neither cool nor an expert on Irish culture. It just surprises me that KK excites them. They have no shame in loving American-style products, but one thing they do well is the newer-type Gourmet American donuts.

Can't wait to go back, mainly to give some of my new local friends some shit about this.

Krispy Kreme donuts in Las Vegas, so I think I'll give them a go when I travel up to Dublin next month.

When no longer hot, just nuke them in microwave for exactly ten seconds. Yum.

when a new place opens up, especially if it is a chain that hasn't been in the region before, there are a few weeks of long lines.

It is just a human thing. The new stuff is exciting!
