In Mexico we call this: «maiceada», which is when the chickens or the pigs are fed. In this case, the senator just ate. Could @realDonaldTrump made an offer she couldn't refuse?

with the rest of the moderate Republicans who refused to go along. We don't know what she got in return for dropping her charade to rant that confirmation speech in place of Lindsey Graham.

But the all-in version we got to see is the real Susan Collins.

She's no victim, she'd not naive, and she doesn't even believe what she says so why should anyone else?

If Democrats were in control of the Senate and had more to offer her, she would suddenly develop an acute case of .... I have too much compassion for the victims of sexual assault to have someone with even a questionable background be appointed to the Supreme Court

And a wonderful dinner it was. But that's not the point.

Maybe she got a call from Mitchie the morning of the vote, and he casually mentioned that if she voted the "right" way, he'd give her the antidote for what she ingested the night before.

Mitchie and the Bloated One have "special" connections with guys who have this stuff, you see.
