Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) on Sunday said it's "premature" for House Democrats to be talking about re-investigating or impeaching Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh if they win back control of the chamber.

This is exactly why Republicans control all three branches of government and the majority of Americans are left being underrepresented, people like Coons more interested in coddling the minority of Republicans in the country than representing the demands of his own voters, let alone the majority of Americans.
An investigation into Kavanaugh should start within microseconds of Congress being sworn in and it should last until all of eternity if that is what it takes, a pile of shit like Kavanaugh has no business being on the Supreme Court.

We need the House to impeach and the Senate to convict.
If we go when we only control the House, we are spitting into the wind.

(1,058 posts)conviction and removal isn't a done deal, it still takes 67 Senators voting to convict and remove.

(37,331 posts)in trying to impeach him as long as repubs control the Senate. What does make sense is to encourage people with credible information to come forward. The GOP wanted this, now they can own it.

(21,716 posts)It would be by a narrow margin, and it takes 67 Senate votes to impeach
