(7,113 posts)1. 1A of the Constitution guarantees the "right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." That's what they were doing.
2. Maybe if MOCs held regular town halls, their constituents wouldn't have to track them down in the halls of Congress.
3. The anti-Kav protesters destroyed nothing, harmed no one, and threatened no one.
The same can't be said about GOP supporters...
-- in Charlottesville who plowed a car into a crowd, killing a woman and who ganged up on and beat up a black man in a parking garage
-- At DC Tea Party rallies, where participants carried open fire arms and signs showing Obama hanging from a noose.
-- Out west, where, RW Clive Bundy supporters threatened officers with guns, not to mention the two who shot and killed two cops in Vegas.
4. So women who get sexually and physically assaulted are ignored, mocked, and threatened by the GOPers, BUT this privileged white male turns on the water works over a credible accusation against him and HE is the aggrieved party?
Who are the SNOWFLAKES now?
