Take a knee for our women day

I think the players should put out a statement immediately saying that today is 'Take a Knee For Our Women' Day.

Anyone who is against an accused attempted rapist being put on the highest court of the land should feel free take a knee today and NOT GET ATTACKED FOR DOING IT. Players fans announcers cops, whoever.

If you love our women, if you respect our women, take a knee for our women.

IF ANYONE attempts to claim that taking a knee today is a protest against the flag or the military or god or country, you come down to the stadium in person and you call these players liars to their faces and let's see how that goes for you.

Next week the knee protest can be put right back on the spotlight of police abuse.

taking a knee doesnt belong to any specific issue. it can be a protest about anything on any given day. today it could be for our women. next week it can be for police abuse again. the people doing it have to create the narrative

so far the right has been able to adopt its meaning and turn it into a negative.

this could be a way to take back gesture in a positive way and frame it exactly how its meant before the right jumps on the attack again.

and also a way for everyone to tell trump to fuck off since we know he loves watching to see who is kneeling or not. let the whole country kneel and see what he says about that

i know if i were in the stands I would do it as a show of support for women.

sadly so many out in the country dont because its been negatively branded by the right.

this would be a positive cause is which to try to get that to change. try to change their minds and turn the gesture against the president.

Take a knee for all the young black men and boys being slaughtered in our streets, but for goodness' sake, do not appropriate it for any other cause.

I can't speak for black folks, but I have been listening to them: co-opting this is not a good idea.

It's been suggested far and wide that covering one's mouth would make a fine, peaceful, silent statement in support of women.

It is as cheap as "white lives matter, all lives matter and blue lives matter" stealing from "Black Lives Matter".

If we can't come up with something original I will not participate. I say that as a me too person.

"I love my black people."

She meant well. But I could hear the theme of "Gone with the Wind" swell in my imagination.

But stepping aside "OUR" women, NFL Players have enough on their plate having to bash open their skulls for the Nation's pleasure.
AND police brutality. That's quite a lot to handle.

Let's think of a different way to express our displeasure at the Patriarchy.
