The NY Times REPRINTED its Wednesday story on Trump family taxes in today's paper

Good news. I thought the original publication date was poorly chosen.

Btw, I got this news via multiple tweets I've run across, including this one from David Cay Johnston, who'll be on AM Joy this morning.

At 11AM today I'll be @amjoyshow guest about @nytimes Trump expose (inspired, the paper graciously says, by my reporting on Trump's taxes) that is reprinted in a special section today.

The time for the NYT to do this was before the election. Someone also suggest that the Times could really do a service by exploring how Trump gets his money NOW. His businesses have suffered from his presidency, Ivanka closed her business, and he doesn’t get enough from the DC hotel to support this family’s lifestyle. Who is funding the family now? And is the tax fraud ongoing? We would all like to know!

This is all discoverable, if media wants to continue with a free press they better find out where his money comes from now and not repeat too little too late. While they are at this the entire funding source of the GOP needs to be exposed.

are funding too much of Donald's extravagant lifestyle. We should be thankful he eats mostly Big Macs and Kentucky Fried, imagine if her were a gourmet! I correct myself-food is one of the few things the Presidents family pays for.

and he claims he is a billionaire. Then he damn well ought to fund his luxury outings, and not stick taxpayers with the bill.

The NY state taxing authority has been trying to take down the Trump Organization and their phony fraudulent "foundation" for years. But no employees/leakers have come forward with the necessary documents and testimony.

The breakthrough happened when the NYT discovered unredacted documents in Trump's sister's paperwork when she was being approved as a federal judge. Nobody had connected up certain facts about the Trump Organization until then, and the way they were scamming the city and state authorities. This info would never have come out by examining Donald J. Trump's taxes, it was a simple mistake his sister made, and now the shit has hit the fan.

Also I believe it has made a difference that Trump's longtime CFO Allan Weisselberg was recently given immunity to speak with Robert Mueller. Things are coming out now that were never released before, so stay tuned. This is only going to get better. The charges against the Trump Foundation are a different investigation, but they're all connected to the same family of grifters.

And also women will rise up and expose all Republicans in Congress and anyone in the White House for corruption , affairs , and abortions , and illegal activities . Any member of the republican party should be exposed for any affairs they've had, or are having, or worse , any sexual assaults they've taken part in, and fully exposed. Women will not sit by and do nothing.

He's been writing about - and investigating - the Trump family taxes & shenanigans since the early 1970's. He partnered with Wayne Barrett on some of it, and I believe Johnston inherited files after Barrett's death. He's a frequent guest/expert on MSNBC also.

Not only because it is about the Trump family fortune, it is good journalism and writing. I you have not read it please do and if you have a copy of it pass it to your friends or neighbors. There is more to the article than the tax stuff, there are juicy bits and pieces of how the system is gamed. Fred Trump got rich from government subsides (think HUD). Ripping off HUD programs has been a scam for a long time. A lot of rich folks have had there hand in that pie.

There was a reporter on morning Joe that said that the article didn't really tell us what we didn't already know but, gives a road map of where to look for wrong doing.

If Trump's dad did it the Don is doing it.And there are many more rich bastards that have or are doing the scam now. Maybe one can hope that just as when the Panama Papers came out there are rich family's starting to feel a tad paranoid.

Maybe if we gain back some power with a road map like this we can put some crooks or others in jail. it won't remove the sting from the Kav appointment but, it would leave a mark.

That's the problem with a lot of the outrages events of this president and WH. So much becomes litter along the information highway because what's hot today is lost in the turmoil of what's the next outrage tomorrow.

But this one was a complicated story that needed to be shelved until after the Kavanaugh hearings.

It's one of those "gag" books. All the pages say ""Donald Trump is a Jerk."

It would be really funny if it hit #1 on the New York Times best seller list.
