That's the mindset we need to take.
We can't rest.

I go Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting nervous though. The Dems lead in the generic ballot has dropped to 6.6, and most experts say the number they need to hit to swing the House is 6-6.5. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/2018_generic_congressional_vote-6185.html
Meanwhile, Trump's approval rating is skyrocketing. I'm sure the two are connected.

(53,061 posts)We aren't running generic candidates we running great candidates.
I am canvassing in a red district in VA red state and no one, including me can even remember the name of the Republican candidate.
In this Republican state (AZ) the Republicans have to have rallies in undisclosed locations because more protesters will show up than rally members.
Yesterday I changed my canvassing group and went with the several hundred at the AFL CIO group. I could have gone with the 50 at the Move On or the 40 at the DSCC.
Perez has been brilliant in flooding key areas with paid operators, they have 50 or so in AZ alone. Why Az? Because it's a twofer; they are working in districts that are good targets for flipping both the House seat and Flake's.
We need to get out the vote

(22,976 posts)It takes energy and a tidal effort and gravity to make a wave, all of which means getting out the vote, AND working on getting others out to vote.
Republicans have tasted blood and they want more. Our task is to drive a stake through their collective cold heart.
LETS DO THIS!
