(11,098 posts)Mueller is too much a straight-shooter to do anything perceived to be trying to impact the election.

(11,098 posts)Mueller is not going to get anywhere near the line of appearing political. When his report is issued, it must be clear that it is not politically based.
This is important. It may be the most important investigation in the history of the country. At this point, nothing is more important than the investigation be complete, accurate and unbiased.
We can wait another month for news.

(6,377 posts)He's an independent third party who's job is to figure out whether or not the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in 2016. He's not working for Democrats or Republicans, he's just doing his job and letting the chips fall where they may.

(10,721 posts)...all sorts of things are done all the time that undoubtedly impact the election, such as the recent fight over a SCOTUS nominee.
If indictments need to be handed out, then hand out the damn indictments.

(17,984 posts)It seems like it to me. Maybe not Kennedy per se, but the choice of Kavanaugh for his willingness to find in favor of the absolute power of the president.

(29,718 posts)They need some protection too. Kennedy had to have cover so KKKravanNAH took over the seat and Kennedy got paid off. Although that last bit is just conjecture.

(13,524 posts)Special Counsel Robert Mueller has moved to seize former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort's condo in Trump Tower in New York.
According to a court filing from Friday, the seizure is expected take place on or after Oct. 20.
FUCK YOU, MANAFORT
Also, I imagine chats with Michael Cohen are going well? Whassuppp, COHEN
Also, Concord Catering, indicted by Mr. Mueller & Co. long ago, tried to present the case this week that Mr. Mueller was exceeding the boundaries of what he was hired to investigate and a federal court said, FUCK YOU, CONCORD CATERING (aka that Prighozen mofo, Putins Chef fucker)
So yeah, Rugged Roberts on the case shraby
Oh wait, and 7 Russians were indicted yesterday morning for being criminal hacker fuckers
So yeah, Mr. Muellers git it goin ON!!!

(27,814 posts)... I wish a bunch of FBI-types would make a big show of moving large boxes into Manafort's empty condo - labelled "X15009-G Long-Range Listening Devices", "24 Minicams - GOV'T ISSUE", and "Agent Surveillance Logbooks", etc.
Then they can keep asking the concierge questions about Trump's apartment: how close is it to Manafort's, what kind of security system does it have.

(13,421 posts)I don't expect Rosenstein to be in place much longer now that the SCOTUS is corrupted enough to protect the festering orange anus. Mueller is running on a short clock.
Disgusting as today has been, I truly think there is a LOT more crap coming.

(1,124 posts)has been "leaking" information that is anything but factual. The orange thing and supporters have a short attention span and are crowing about their "win" and focusing on mid-terms.
I'm perfectly happy to have their attention diverted ... and leave Mueller to do his job. Next big thing will hit like a bomb.

(21,573 posts)if the fire department doesn't show up until the house is burned to the ground, it doesn't really help anything
my only thought is that he figures a GOP congress will just shred his report, so he feels these is no point issuing it until after the election. so i would expect to hear from him after the election. if we don't hear from him by the end of November i'll lose a lot of faith.

(4,609 posts)in Mueller's investigation(s) the disgraceful episode of Kavanaugh reinforces my belief/fear that united Republicans will do nothing with Mueller's report or take any action whenever he finally submits it. Well, perhaps they may just bury it.
