since that orange asshole was installed. I know it is not the answer, but I understand.

Do everything else we need to do as well. Stay sober and GOTV.

My plans for tomorrow are to join with a group of our district Dems and canvass for our Democratic candidates. Early voting here starts next week!

Getting involved in GOTV efforts are energizing and uplift my spirit.

I would love to see that happen too. Our cities are mostly blue but unfortunately the 'burbs and rural areas are very red.

Flagstaff and Tucson are appealing.
But my feeling is that AZ is even redder than Texas. That surprises me.
As a child, I drew a picture that Governor Raul Castro framed and put in his office.
I remember that being a big deal.
I remember protesting the Palo Verde Nuclear plant as a 10 year old and I remember celebrating Cesar Chavez and his strikes in California.
That was my childhood.
I am trying to figure out where we got where we are now.
A former classmate is a republican representative there when she was one of the biggest partiers in High School and had no room on the moral highway.
It feels like life is upside down.

But, Sun City does have a Dems Club. Your Mom might like to get involved and meet other like-minded people. They meet at a Starbucks every Monday.

My tremor in my hands is significantly worse. I can't concentrate. Hubby offered to make dinner and he told me that he was so appreciative to have a loving wife. I hugged him bigly for that.

OK. I've calmed down. Just talked to a good friend who was sorry for me, for the country, for everyone who will suffer as a result of Kavenaugh.

Gotta think that we'll all get through this. Together. On DU and elsewhere...

Stay strong, dear. You are valued and loved.

Thanks for the kind words.

max drunk! One night one of them called me up to bullshit and he was hammered! I ended up asking him how much he had to drink? There was a pause, him holding the bottle up to study it, then he said, "well, I'm below the label!" It doesn't work the same with all brands, but for most, that would be a good indication of being really wasted!

I only did tequila in quantity once and I don't remember much. Had to call the people I was with the day after to make sure I didn't do anything too obnoxious. I did wake up with a crumbled unsmoked cigarette in my pocket and I don't even smoke!

Peace

As a father with two daughters,13 and 10, I hope we can right this ship before they have to deal with trump's toxic spill.

My mother passed August 31st. I wish that I could mourn in peace, but this bigot grifter and the footmen in congress will not stop inflicting the country with their festering shit souls.

I am of Mexican nationality, and I will be making an ofrenda for Day of the Dead. My father, who passed three and a half years ago, will be invited to the ofrenda as well.

Then, I will vote--and no longer suffer any fools. I have a family to protect and the light of my mother's love to share.

My Mom has recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness. My father has been gone many years.
I don't think that enough attention is given to how traumatic it is to lose your parents in this world.

I like weed so much better, and I live in California!

Been stoned a lot lately. Advantages of living in a blue state, even one as expensive as here. We have much better feel good, natural medicines available to us.
