One thought really comes to mind watching these brave women...

being arrested at the Capitol Building: many of these women are survivors of sexual assault/abuse. To have your hands restrained behind your back and patted down by the police must be difficult for some. I can imagine the feeling of momentary powerlessness and fear.

I have been to protests, but always in the back of my mind is the fear of being restrained in such a manner.

Brava, sisters... you are brave, and you are making a difference!

I'm sure pro bono representation will be available. Of course, the result would be dropped charges, but they should demand it.
