1. Where are those 67 Senate votes for conviction going to come from?

I hate to be a wet blanket but impeachment without a reasonable chance of conviction is worse than useless; an acquittal would just embolden the GOP. The impeachment and subsequent unsuccessful Senate trial of Bill Clinton only increased his popularity. Don't shoot at the King unless you know you can kill him, the old saying goes.

3. What do you think will happen if a real investigation happens? What about when real people

corroborate Dr. Ford's testimony and others corroborate his drinking and what the Devil's Triangle is?

What do you think will happen when the other 2 accusers are allowed to testify in open court and the world gets to hear it with corroboration?

What do you think will happen when it is shown how he lied about all the stolen emails he said he didn't get? And all the other lies he said? Basically all the things that the R's hid in this past investigation?

Maybe the R's will still vote for him but maybe they won't.

5. Maybe I'm too cynical but I don't think they will change their minds

no matter what might be discovered. The GOP is tribal and they will defend their guy no matter what. Trump proudly admitted to sexual assault and he got elected. And people think the GOP turned against Nixon after the Watergate investigation, but the reality is that they didn't - the articles of impeachment were passed along party lines, and only because the Dems controlled the House Judiciary Committee at the time. And this was after the "smoking gun" tape was discovered, proving beyond all doubt that Nixon had tried to get the CIA to tell the FBI to stop its investigation of the break-in.

So I really don't think this would be any different.

2. Investigate thoroughly, yes.

But impeach only if there is enough malfeasance that the Republicans will also vote to convict. Otherwise impeachment is worse than pointless.

8. The House should open up investigations

Get all the evidence in public, show that the GOP were complicent in putting a sexual assaulter and liar in the SC. Can try impeachment but all this info will be more grist for the 2020 election...
