enthusiasm gap

We, as Democrats, pushed very hard. And republicans saw us lose. Democrats saw us lose.

We have significant issues facing us

If we cannot get people to the polls we face losing our grip on political power completely

We have been in minority party for a very long time now. Unless we find our feet, get a more unified voice and

GET OUT THE VOTE

We face challenges we have never faced before.

Talking about the enthusiasm gap and then ended it by saying, "which is really bad news for democrats". Why say that? Especially if that is the side you yourself wants to win? You know how lazy dem voters can be in midterms. Why give them an excuse to just not go, just not "waste" the time to vote?
