(75 posts)She KNOWS. Both videos are extremely telling.
I wonder if the GOP insistence on drug-testing everyone else is merely projection?
If Kav is ever stopped for a DUI in the future, I hope he is also drug-tested. Am I the only person who wonders how many DUIs are in his record (both juvenile underage and adult)?

(81,383 posts)The Judicial branch of the federal government was the one place where you could trust that there'd be no partisanship, that the nine justices would truly and genuinely be impartial.
As of this past weekend, we don't have that anymore. SCOTUS now has a cloud over it. The Supreme Court has a cloud over it. With a MOST dubious and tainted new justice, who is a suspected and credibly-accused sexual predator, appointed by a tainted and illegitimate so-called "president" who himself is a self-admitted sexual predator. And, said tainted new justice isn't even the first such appointee to be sexually predatory or abusive. There's TWO of them now, if you count Clarence Thomas.
So as of this weekend, the Supreme Court is credibly damaged goods. Now JOINING the Legislative branch (Congress) AND the Executive branch (the White House etc). ALL THREE are now corrupted. None of the three is worthy of trust any longer.

(8,036 posts)An error, yes, reflecting a shocking level of ignorance, which is far worse than a silly typo.

(24,023 posts)I was so intent on finding something misspelled (which there wasnt) that I completely missed the word Senate and had to go watch the Rachel clip. I was afraid I had lost my usual eagle eye for typos.

(8,036 posts)I did the same thing. Worried that I was losing it. Its a relief to know I was not alone.
Having spent the first half of my career in commercial printing and advertising print media, I am well acquainted with typos.
Chears!

(I wish I could take credit for this, but I saw it somewhere years ago. I did tweak the original a bit to make it even better. I am quite sure I must have been an English teacher or editor iin a previous life. Sloppy grammar and usage drive me crazy. I am guilty of typos because I am a lousy typist and don't always remember to proof before hitting send.)
