Kavanaugh support is underwater.

https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/brett-kavanaugh-unpopular-supreme-court-justice_us_5bb7c331e4b028e1fe3d9646?ncid=engmodushpmg00000004

Fox News, which has polling on nominees starting with John Roberts in 2005, found Kavanaugh was the first to hit 50 percent opposition among registered voters. The second-most unpopular was President Donald Trump’s nominee Neil Gorsuch, who saw 39 percent opposition. NBC/Wall Street Journal polling, which also goes back to Roberts, put opposition to Kavanaugh at 38 percent in mid-September, compared with a previous high of 30 percent for Sonia Sotomayor. Support for Kavanaugh was at 34 percent — the first time in the NBC/Wall Street Journal polls’ history that a nominee was underwater.

More people do not want him than want him. But who are we, anyway?

Somebody big wants him there. He has been involved in everything bad the GOOPers have done since the 90's. He is being rewarded for something he knows. He will cover the orange one's crimes, but I think there is more he his hiding.

I think it has something to do with Smirky the Chimperor (GWB). He (and his girlfriend Kindasleazy Rice) have been busting their balls to get him in and hiding their paper trail. Smirky doesn't bust his balls anymore. He paints.

IMHO.

They get the government they deserve.

living in the past, "we warned you", does not help with GOTV efforts. Also, from my readings of DU members, not a single member failed to vote or voted for the mad man.

my case) until most of us die. It's roots lie in what was done in prior years. They had the power, we didn't. Ignoring that fact will not change the future results of it.

We never have a long view. We always look toward the next election to fix the past. If we don't think we will get our immediate wants we just don't vote. They take the long view and always vote and get what they want.

The very fact that we have to convince ourselves it is important to vote is telling.

Because in my lifetime we won't see a good SCOTUS.

I guess I'm off to Mars on the first rockets when they start flying.

At least there we'd have a chance to create a proper system that doesn't uphold the rights of powerful elites over the poor.

It's a shame that it took the Garland nomination, Donald Trump and decades of cheating Republicans for Dem voters to realize that the SCOTUS is an issue that we need to take into consideration when casting our votes.

But in all of this Mr. Mueller is still working diligently.

but one way.

Bernie was not a Dem so why should he need the DNC?

Bernie spent months attacking Hillary which helped elect trump by turning people against her during the general.

Enjoying the Bust?

If I had my way there would have been no Bernie at all thus no Kavanaugh at all.

many of the bullshit lies like “Wall Street”. “TPP” “War Monger” and so much more would not have been put in people’s minds.

If Bernie were not in the mix we would have President Clinton, universal health care liberal Supreme Court infrastructure spending and so much more

All he did was insert himself where he wasn’t needed IMHO

his rulings have already weakened age discrimination rules. Look for more of that, weakening of wage laws, discrimination laws, anything to flow that money upstairs. IMHO. The attention has been on his drunken abuser frat boy background and the normalization of rape culture, but more attention should be on his rulings. Total partisan hack and will be the go to boy for the ruling elite.
