You were an intelligent and a warm guest on Bill Maher. You tried to assure us that this, too, shall pass ("this" the Republican control of D.C.) You, and Jon Meachum rely on historical events.

But this is different. This is the age of Social Media. You mentioned a fight in Congress that someone from S.C., I think, hitting another member from the North with a cane. And this galvanized the north and brought about Lincoln.

But today we have all the tweets from Trump, all the "fake news" rants, Fox, things that the deplorables do not care to find the truth.

Thank you for trying to reassure us but, to tell the truth, I was not reassured.

(I suspect that this will be posted on the Video forum at some point).
