Because one of the republican Senators has a daughter getting married tomorrow and would have to fly back rather than stay at the wedding, she is going to vote “present” so the tally stays the same.

I don’t know how I feel about it.

That proving that sometimes one has to vote their conscience, even if they risk losing their seat.

There are many people who can, and they should.

On the other hand, we have a Senator with more than $8M in his treasury for his re-election campaign, his opponent has a mere SIX THOUSAND dollars, and yet he still sends out emails daily pleading for money.

i almost always delete political campaign emails because i pay enough attention and just go directly myself if i want to donate or check anything out.
