Monica McLean has denied professor Christine Blasey Fords ex-boyfriends claim that she was coached by Blasey Ford, her friend, before she took a polygraph test years ago.
The ex-boyfriends claim (he has chosen to remain anonymous) was cited in Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassleys (R-IA) Tuesday letter demanding more evidence from Blasey Fords lawyers.
I have never had Christine Blasey Ford, or anybody else, prepare me, or provide any other type of assistance whatsoever in connection with any polygraph exam I have taken at anytime, McLean said in a statement, according to the Wall Street Journal.
McLean was not identified in the ex-boyfriends letter, but Blasey Fords lawyers reportedly confirmed that she is the friend in question.
During her testimony before the committee, Blasey Ford said that she had never given anyone tips or advice on how to take a polygraph test.
