Civil fines could still be assessed, but not criminal charges.
HOWEVER, why should anyone think that similar crimes aren't happening even today? Why would DT have stopped doing something that was working so well?
I hope this story causes NY state, at least, to investigate this possibility.

I don't know if we have that here, but just knowing what I know about Trump, I'll bet there's a case to be made. I'm guessing he didn't disclose this stuff on his taxes. I'm guessing he probably cooked the books.
Even without these new crimes, there's still more than enough to send him to prison for the rest of his life. Between what Mueller finds out and what the State of New York can get him for, he'll die in prison.
