It is very Republican but has become quite Democratic too.

(36,893 posts)I knew it skewed quite heavily republican, but didn't realize the extent of Democratic participation. I also didn't realize how big The Villages is.

Like MCAR pointed out, there is an active democratic organization there, it weighed in to support one candidate in our school board election (she is in a runoff with the incumbent after falling just short of outright victory).
