Either Sen. Collins VOTES NO on Kavanaugh OR we fund her future opponent

Up to $1,777,742 out of $2,000,000 goal at this point. If you pledge a donation, you will only be charged if Susan Collins votes Yes on Kavanaugh. This campaign is run by Maine People's Alliance and Mainers for Accountable Leadership, which are two pretty awesome political organizations in Maine that support Democratic political initiatives within the state of Maine.

I'm willing to wait and see what she does. Not going to damn her until she makes it final what her decision is. I will vote against her if she doesn't defend her own gender, like she always has said she would do in the past. I gave $20.20 to the campaign.

She honestly hasn't been all that bad all these years. She has voted with the Dems when it matters the most because she has, up to this point, listened to her constituents. I think if she is still listening now, she'd vote no, because it is obvious that is what most Mainers want. If she no longer cares what Mainers want and she's all about her party, she'd vote yes. I think she should be rewarded for representing Mainers in the face of incredible pressure from her party, that is if she votes no and continues to vote the way the majority of Mainers want her to going forward. I also think she'd probably be better off running as an independent the next time too.

"I'm definitely not going to vote for her if she votes in favor of Kavanaugh. If she votes against him, I would still consider it. It would just depend on what she does from then on and who her opposition is".

about them voting to confirm right wing judges or voting to repeal the individual mandate of the affordable care act. I don't live in Maine, but if I did I would vote for a Democrat over her every time and it's not even close.

We don't give a shit about party so much as the person representing us is actually representing us. If Collins is still a real Mainer, then she will do what the majority wants and not be influenced by the party she is in. If the woman pulls through and protects us from the will of the ultra right wingers in her party, then we shouldn't shit on her for that. I will not vote for her if she doesn't vote against Kavanaugh though.

I'm absolutely puzzled by the OP's defense of Collins.

I'm absolutely puzzled someone would not get the significance of replacing Collins with a Democrat.

I sincerely hope I don't have to pay the $20.20, not because I need the money, but because she needs to do the right thing.
