1. So much for the southern gentleman

He really sounds like he's shredding.

You know, I'm younger than he is, and I have this sense that I don't want to blow it at this point, to leave a legacy of resentment and dislike. So I'm consciously being nice to people, shrugging away irritation. I'm not being heroic or anything (like John McCain was clearly trying to be in the end), but I know whenever the end comes, I want people to feel bad that I'm gone.

Lindsey Graham seems to have just fallen apart and decided that in the end of his life, what he really wants is for Trump to like him. That of course means behaving in a way that makes everyone else DISlike him.

Maybe this is all some weird mourning for his friend McCain. "Take that! You shouldn't have died, if you didn't want me to lick Trump's boots!"

He's really gotten weird-- weirdly angry, weirdly out of control, cussing like a fourteen-year-old boy out of earshot of his parents.

2. "...to make the world a better place."

He's telling the truth, but not the whole truth. He really is working to make the world a better place, but only for the very rich.

The rest of us don't count and just get in the way.
