She is not to be defined by her relationship to someone else (specifically, to someone with XY chromosomes).

She is a person in her own right.

Yes fewer of us are, but sexual violence impacts across all genders, ages, races etc. We shouldn't not sexually assault somebody because of their gender or any other characteristic, but because sexual assault is wrong.
