I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.

(51,594 posts)He says a "woman with credible info about Kavanaugh and Mark Judge". Farrow could have another victim.
MSNBC says that the Dems are investigating the situation themselves.

(638 posts)There's gotta be more than two that he's done this to. I don't think this nomination will survive by the time of the hearing this week.

(6,137 posts)if we defeat this nominee, it would be nothing short of a miracle. And its only fair to delay this thing for as much as possible so they wont even have enough time to confirm a replacement nominee before the end of the term.

(4,066 posts)I was so hoping Avanatti would deliver on his earlier tweets. Looks like he's going to.
I bet Kavanaugh doesn't have enough calendars to cover everything he's done.

(37,648 posts)This is an OMG moment. I hope the poor woman understands what she's getting into. And I hope she's super duper credible, so as not to hurt Ford's credibility.
OMG. But it makes sense. Guys like that usually don't do something like that just once. And don't start out doing things like that by holding his hand over a girl's mouth to prevent her from screaming. You'd work up to that, I would think.

(3,433 posts)The man has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman and now that it appears there is another. He has produced no convincing rebuttal nor does he demand an investigation. He is most certainly guilty in my opinion and his smugness is only further evidence. How can such a person be placed in a position where his opinion could rob women of nearly 50 years of reproductive rights and self determination? He has already demonstrated that he cares little for women. Sexual assault and abuse robs the victim of something very precious, their agency. I am not a woman but I am a victim of sexual abuse and rape. This appointment cannot stand.

I thought everyone was jumping the gun on that one. Avenatti had mentioned twice before that his client's claim involved Mark Judge too. That means there are at least three women out there with some sort of accusation against creepy Kavanaugh.
The pattern of behavior that seems to be emerging is of a guy that regularly looked for intoxicated females to take advantage of at parties while he was in high school and college.

(5,810 posts)tRump has his moment of truth. He has gotten away with his crimes for far too long. The women he abused and harassed deserve their time to tell their stories. The tide is turning and it is about time. This cannot be making tRump feel good.

(409 posts)and coming forward. It's never easy, but especially given the current circumstances. It must truly have been one of the most difficult decisions of their lives. I commend them sooo much for bringing their experiences to light. I hope they get the justice they deserve.
