Bill Geist looks back on the journey of a lifetime

https://www.cbs.com/shows/cbs-sunday-morning/video/dburrVK11yQkZRnV2oGqn7KMTXVHPbqh/bill-geist-looks-back-on-the-journey-of-a-lifetime/

After 31 years reporting on some of the most unusual places and events in America, "Sunday Morning" correspondent Bill Geist is retiring. He looks back at some of the memorable stops on his journey.

CBS Sunday Morning has long been a fave of mine on Sunday mornings. From the starting trumpet to the innumerable sun shapes to the various segments and the final nature send off. Bill Geist has been a big part of that for decades. Sharing bits of Americana with the nation. His recent revelation of having Parkinson’s and announcing his retirement is a sad reminder of the fragility of life but also an inspiration to enjoy it in every moment.

I always enjoyed CBS Sunday Morning. It’s a refreshing change from the anguish of the daily news. Bill Geist and his stories have always been a favorite. Plus I love the last nature minute of the show. I saw this clip when originally broadcast but now others can see it. Thanks for sharing.
