A friend of Christine Blasey Ford doesn't remember the party.
"Simply put," Walsh said, "Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford."
This is not in any way remarkable to me. As Ford's lawyer pointed out, why would she remember a party 30 years ago when nothing happened to her.
What has always struck me as remarkable is that Mark Judge, Kavanaugh's budy, is certain he did not attend the party. So he has that clear a memory of all the parties he attended 30 years ago that he can be sure he didn't attend one of them. How remarkable!

(27,814 posts)... has repeatedly stated that he "wasn't there".
Given that Dr. Ford has never identified the "where", how can Kavanaugh categorically state that he wasn't "there"?

(14,308 posts)If this person was a good friend and the only other female there, she might have noticed her friend go missing for a few minutes and might notice she left in a hurry for no apparent reason. Obvious questions to ask though she may have been there and not noticed anything, especially if they were all drinking. I think overall though if there's a party with two young women, and some young men all drinking, the women would tend to keep an eye on each other.
As far as Judge is concerned, if you said do you remember that party where that person threw a hand grenade in the living room that blew my foot off and oh by the way I distinctly remember you were the one who handed him the grenade I think it's safe to say, I would distinctly remember if that happened. I was not at that party.

(58,785 posts)Ford was 15, her friend wouldn't have been much older, if at all. Btw, a pair of 30-year-old strippers might be in the habit of keeping an eye on each other at parties, but not a pair of 15-year-olds who were among other teens they and their friends socialized with.
Just a note.

Today there was a party that I did not attend. So, I have no knowledge of anything that may or may not have gone on there

(44,973 posts)What is attributed to him is that he doesn't remember the party. As far as I can tell what you are claiming isn't accurate.
""I have no memory of this alleged incident," said Mark Judge in a September 18 letter sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee. He said he did not recall the party and never saw Brett Kavanaugh act in the matter Ford describes."
