Anybody else miss Letterman, Stewart, & Olbermann?

They were all such great writers and had such quick wits and excellent timing.
Just imagine what they could be doing with Trump and his collection of “the best people” right now.
Wish they’d all come back for some kind of round table discussion. Even just one time.
I’d gladly pay to see it in person or on pay per view.

None of this is too say that I don’t really like Colbert, Noah, and Rachel that replaced their time slots. Love them too.
Just wish those three voices were still ALSO out there talking politics.

I like Rachel a lot more than Olbermann and Colbert and Stewart are similar.

So I don't really miss those three. I think we are ok. Plus, once in a while the old three pop up in places.

Never watched Letterman but enjoy his online show now. Olbermann I never forgave for a special comment he did on Hillary that was nothing but bullshit.

but they have left us a legacy of great "replacements"

John Oliver, Stephen Cobert, Seth Meyers, Trevor Noah, and the great Samantha Bee.

on the news side, Lawrence O'Donnel, Racheal Maddow, Ali Velshi and Stephanie Rule, Joy Reid, and Chris Hayes are all very very good... although maybe not quite as good as Keith at skewering the GOP.

O’mann got old and too cocky. I think the late night show hosts do pretty well with today’s politics, but I did prefer Letterman.

And the sarcastic way Keith did the show. I don't think I ever missed more than 5? shows the entire time he was on. Loved it! I also was a member of the group that bought him a tie that he wore on the show! I think it was k.o.e.b., but not totally certain anymore.

I also REALLY, REALLY, REALLY miss Jon Stewart. Every night. And the Colbert Report.

I will always be grateful to them for making the Bush/Cheney years a little more bearable. So glad to have Colbert, Meyers, Kimmel, etc. Boy, are they ever needed these days !!!!!
