Kavanaugh letter to Chairman Grassley: "I continue to want a hearing as soon as possible, so that I can clear my name. Since the moment I first heard this allegation, I have categorically and unequivocally denied it. I remain committed to defending my integrity."

dug up. Certainly the rush to a hearing would preclude any proper investigation of the accusation, not to mention preventing Dr. Ford from preparing for a hearing while her life is completely in chaos.

When someone is guilty but is covering their ass. Worded this way they can say they weren't 'lying' if they're caught with a ton of evidence dumped on them.

This buttwipe (as well as Trump & the GOP) only wants a (very biased) hearing (a joke) and isn't pushing for an investigation.

I will always believe someone who pushes for an investigation over someone who seems to be avoiding one.
