How afraid of flying is Blasey Ford?

I have seen several reports that Blasey Ford is afraid of flying because of the incident with Kavanaugh. In that case, does that mean she doesn't fly at all? In that extreme case, she would have to travel from the San Francisco area to Washington by automobile or by train. Either way is an arduous three day trek, more or less. Could that travel time explain why she could not testify on Monday?

Just a wild idea.

exits, one to the outside. And planes, because there's no exit, are a big source of torture for her.

It might even provide a little surprise bit of evidence.

I say she should take a train. Stop at every podunk station and wide spot in the road between San Francisco and Washington DC, and give an address from the back of the train. I saw Bobby Kennedy do this in 1968; it's quite effective for rallying support.
