1. I'm glad reporters are asking about the charge against Kavanaugh.

It's clear that neither Congress nor the WH are going to do anything to determine the facts. Hopefully, reporters will. It worries me that the FBI had no clue about this. Nor did they investigate how Kavanaugh was able to suddenly pay off 100s of thousands of gambling debts last year. Sounds curious to me.

Without that they can’t open one. And even if they could, doing so in this one case after all this time without a victim complaint would immediately be seen as politically motivated and subject to all kinds of problems, both politically and also may bring and prosecution into doing in the unlikely event it ever was prosecuted.
