From Google: Patriot: A person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.
The greatest enemies this country has right now are Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Both are doing everything in their power to destroy what most of us believe what America is supposed to be.
And Trump (with the Republican Party abetting him) is embracing our greatest opponent on the world stage. Russia. He is defending our "enemies or detractors" and is giving every indication he is in bed with them, from his financial dealings to how much they helped him get into the Oval Office.
Add to this that the Republican Party doesn't give a rat's ass about any of it. As long as they can hold onto power. And holding onto power is their aim, their goal, and their ultimate purpose of existence. They really don't give a shit about Americans, democracy, freedoms, the Constitution, or the well being of any human being besides themselves. The people they're supposed to represent? Fuck 'em. They care only about their own privilege, perks, power and holding on to that power..
Is this "patriotism?" Maybe. But patriotism to which country? Certainly seems it's not the United States. Amazing how many millions of Americans vote for these people time and time again.

Any more questions I can answer for you, Cyrano?
The entire GOP is corrupt and Trump is a treasonous bastard.
