As a man who hears the term "Year of the Woman" every few election cycles, I have one thing to say.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, would put this country on a better course and at least start to make a dent in fixing all the damage that's been done these last few years than for the upcoming election to be biggest, baddest, most thorough "Year of the Woman" that's ever been seen on this planet. That is all.

That's what we have been doing the last 40 years and I keep thinking we're going to change but so far that seems unlikely.

I had hoped that 2016 would be "The Year Of The Woman" and we'd have a female president.

It seems amazing to me that much of the country is tired of Trump's nonsense and the GOP's corruption. If things go our way this November, it could set us up for "The Year Of The Woman" in 2020.

A guy can hope.
