If Dr. Ford is denied a hearing, she will be all over the television telling her story. How do republicans think that will help them?

(9,897 posts)They abide Trump to get this seat...
They tore up the Senate to get this seat...
They stiffed Garland and Obama to get this seat...
They have heaped enough shame on themselves to last 3 generations...but they are going to get this seat and a nearly insurmountable 5-4 (or worse) edge in the SCOTUS for the next 20 years.
They only care about one thing...getting that seat into the most overtly noxious hands they can as fast as possible before returning to the status of the "Party of No" for the foreseeable future.

Statement from Susanna A. Jones
Holton-Arms School

In a recent article, The Washington Post describes an alleged assault of one of our alumnae by Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh that occurred in the early 1980s, while she was a student at Holton-Arms. In these cases, it is imperative that all voices are heard. As a school that empowers women to use their voices, we are proud of this alumna for using hers.
Do you suppose this HS kept records of any reported incidents - just asking...probably not from that era..
