McConnell speaking on Senate floor...

just tuned in, on CNN, blaming the victim and Senator Feinstein so far

"did not raise the issue in closed session", "eleventh hour"...oh shut up McConnell

says senior senator from Maine (Susan Collins) said Democrats should have raised the issue

after complaining, he said Grassley will handle it.

Republican politics is a good old boys club. Women are seen as lesser beings, unequal and to be disbelieved. It is a story that is a thousand years old, well as old as earth itself.

They all make me sick.

I thought Chairman Grassley ruled a motion to go into executive (closed) session out of order when the Democrats wanted to quiz Judge Kavanaugh about the "committee confidential" documents they got just prior to Kavanaugh's appearance. What closed session is McConnell talking about, I wonder? Was there a closed session for the committee before thousands of pages of confidential documents were furnished to the Democrats on the committee?

Maybe Mitch should be questioned about his curious remarks?

But Chris Cillizza on CNN said he didn't see how it could possibly be closed session, given the public interest and right to know

Blasting Democrats for waiting till the "11th hour" to bring up these allegations and saying they would have handled them with "discretion and sensitivity." I call BS!

about a simple maneuver that's dished him good. "It's really not fair..."

As opposed to his many intensely unethical maneuvers meant to overset the whole purpose of the confirmation process and inimical to our democracy itself.

Oh, and now Trump's expected to announce up to $200 billion in tariffs on China 7 weeks ahead of the midterms, with China of course retaliating in kind. Incomes of some farmers could be 30% less this year than last. Turtle's having a very bad day.

trying to protect our democracy, and they're very bad ones trying to overset it, betraying all the oaths they swore to their nation and those who voted for them.

It's far, far more than a tit for tat. In fact, it's not that at all.

Then tell us why it was completely fair when you stole Garland's seat.

Mitchie's having a sad. This must mean Kavanaugh's in serious trouble.
