RMoney and Ryan using a battle-scarred Battleship as a "prop"

ought to make every Veteran sick to their stomach.

Didn't Rmoney spend the Vietnam War living in a mansion in France?

None of Rmoney's "able-bodied" sons volunteered to serve in the current conflicts. Sign the "fuck" up boys! Find out what it takes to actually bring a ship like that to life.

Ryan and none of his sons have volunteered to serve in the current conflicts. Sign the "fuck" up boys! Then your father could actually have a reason to visit a warship!

Using the USS WISCONSIN as a "prop" for their campaign, is sickening.

for other reasons, as well. I'm not sure of the exact structure of Nauticus ownership, but it's employees (including employees aboard the Wisconsin) are Norfolk city employees. For people who are always screaming about how much they hate government, Republicans never seem to shy away from making use of government owned facilities. When the teabaggers in my area hold one of their little rallies, it's always at a National Park or at a public school.

Somehow, watching a chickenhawk, draft dodger like Romney using a battleship as a prop for his stage show brought back memories of Bush and his big "Mission Accomplished" banner-palooza:

"Romney avoided military service at the height of the fighting after high school by seeking and receiving four draft deferments, according to Selective Service records. They included college deferments and a 31-month stretch as a "minister of religion" in France."

why his "sons haven't volunteered to serve in Iraq or Afghanistan", especially since he seems hell-bent on taking us into Iran if elected.
