The op-ed writer is just saying what Jared has seen himself as doing from day 1

"In the chaos that often seems to surround Mr. Trump — the churn of advisers, the Twitter wars with reporters, the daily uncertainty over who is making decisions — Mr. Kushner has emerged as the closest thing to a steadying influence, injecting optimism, playing down controversies and reinforcing Mr. Trump’s perceptions, worldview and instincts."

From November of 2016.

This mysterious writer of this op-ed who said they and their allies have "gone to great lengths to keep bad decisions contained to the West Wing, though they are clearly not always successful" really sounds like what we all know Javanka does on a regular basis since before the 'election'.

Javanka has often been the source of those bad decisions starting with Jared campaigning to have Comey fired. They fight with everyone and then do their best to get them out of the WH. I thought he was supposed to be working on peace in the Middle East, he has certainly cozied up to Saudi Arabia and done his best to do in other Arab countries like Qatar.

They masquerade as the pretend-resistance and this is what this is... everything they do is to control Daddy.

(And the other thing is, this is politics 2018, it doesn't really matter who the author is, but if we create an atmosphere that it's Javanka and if that's the public consensus, that would be the most damaging to Donald personally.)

He is a scumbag in his business practices, and views this whole thing as nothing more than the ultimate power trip to use the office of POTUS to make money/dig out his holes.

He does not have even have the first bone in his body that cares one wit about pubic service or proper governance.

Even if he did, there on what planet do people live that he would risk his standing with trump by doing him on in a OP Ed in the NYTs?
