General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsNo, you are NOT " a part of the Resistance". We in the Resistance are known in our
communities. We wear our tees and carry our signs and write our signed LTE's. We have skin in the game and, more importantly, we DETEST what Trump has done and will do if not stopped.
We are not running for any office; we seek no appointments; and, we are not expecting anyone to call us heroes.
We just want democracy restored to the country we love so that our children and grandchildren can have the same shot at " life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" which we considered our birthright until November, 2016.
So, for my money: go public or STFU.

(31,113 posts)It is laughable anyone working for Putin, and they all do, would imply this.
You dont work for rump, you work for putin if you are in the WH, putin will decide what he does.

"To be clear, ours is not the popular 'resistance' of the left," the piece reads. "We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous."
Our allies have been alienated and he's made common cause with our enemies..is this how they want him to succeed? As long as they want him to succeed that is the agenda and does not make us safer. In fact, it's a rather schizo message someone who is not elected is essentially, with the help of others, committing a coup. These are supposedly self appointed guardrails and while the upper portion of the country may be more prosperous many, many are not and are the ones who will be hurt the most if his administration succeeds.

(1,366 posts)The obvious timing of this is suspect too. In the middle of the SCOTUS hearings, where the Democrats are gaining traction against this "wolf-Manchurian Candidate" of a nominee this thing gets released--Bye Bye SCOTUS coverage....

(17,213 posts)Self-serving drivel. It just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that there is a faction within the WH "fighting" to ruin America their way, and not Mr Trump's.
