Why Is It So Hard To Realize That IT IS THE RICH THAT ARE GETTING A FREE PASS!!!!!!

Why do so many people who are on government programs because they have no other choice still voting GOP who says they should NOT get a free ride. Now they are being told they will have to work to get their measly food stamps, welfare, health care and what have you just to live and breathe another day. Some cannot pass muster on these requirements and many will just die period.

Most of the south and even in many northern states are on these personally vital programs. Yet they vote GOP and support Trump even though they are bluntly told that their benefits will be taken away. Even someone is completely nuts understands consequences.

at the top rake off the top. It's pretty much looting. Those people claim to be overtaxed and they are way in the black on our tax dollars.

Most southern states are net recipient states of federal dollars, but that's very different.

That's not your only misconception, Masters. EVERYONE knows the rich are getting not just a free pass, they're robbing us, taking wealth that should come to workers both before it reaches our pockets and after. Because they can.

Not everyone knows that this is on TOP of the enormous share they take of our nation's NEW wealth. Planetary wealth has quadrupled over the past 30+ years, a majority of it accruing to our nation even as real incomes have dropped for half our people.

`There’s been class warfare for the last 20 years, and my class has won’ ~ Warren Buffett in 2011 and the wealth grab has accelerated since then.

Maybe go read about WHY conservatives still support this? When they do, because they often fight it also. It's complex, and it's not because they haven't finally come to realize it. They know it too.

My understanding is that the truly poor, who get SNAP, Disability, SSI, maybe TANF, do not vote in large percentages.

The poor rural WHITE population who are employed, but struggle with low wages and limited opportunities, DO vote GOP, and are driven by their deep resentments of the free ride they feel others (urban blacks, immigrants) are getting.

Disability, in particular, drives resentments. I have personally met people who are on it, but do manual labor under the table.

Of course, the Opiod Crisis is directly affecting rural white America, and there's little help available, because government has been cut to the bone to be "fair" to rich people. Hoist by their own petard, as it were.

Either way they help the GOP stay in power. And I did not say all southerners are on these programs. Many are and still vote GOP. If we got the ones to vote who do not the Democrats might win more. Some of the reddest counting in the South are strong GOP.

These life savings programs, Trump voters will finally know they messed up.

And I'll be the first to say "I told ya so".

When the last scummy Trump voter, get the last Food stamp, that's when the GOP when finally be over.
