This has to be one of the lamest VP choices I have ever seen. (Original Post) BlueStater Aug 2012 OP
What choice would not have been lame? Nye Bevan Aug 2012 #1
Picking Portman or Pawlenty would have been exceedingly less lame than this. BlueStater Aug 2012 #2
His campaign would agree, no doubt. Lone_Star_Dem Aug 2012 #5

Yup this rates up there or down there with the Palin pick, has "desperate to hang on to base" Raine Aug 2012 #8

Not trying to be snarky, I just can't think of anyone he could have picked who I would not consider to be a lame choice.

Yes, both of them have the combined charisma of tree bark but at least they're not completely laughable picks. Picking this Wisconsin bozo simply reeks of total desperation like the Palin choice did.

But, they were in a corner and about to screw the down ticket votes. No room left for a safe pick. Their candidate simply wasn't strong enough for one.

and knock him out as a serious candidate in the future.

So glad he's hitching up to the Romney train.

because Ryan brings nothing to boost those creds. So what have we got? An arrogant, entitled, thin-skinned multi-millionaire and a so-called devout Catholic who worships an atheist whose budget his very own church has called an immoral document. Wow. Congrats!

We might just take back the House. It worked for Kathy Hochul.
