The other day I was sitting on a bench near the entrance of the store, waiting for my ride home.
There were several other benches, with other people sitting for their own reasons.
Suddenly I reached out into the air with the forefinger and thumb of my right hand,
snatching something and bringing it close to my face for a look
before popping it into my mouth.
They all seemed to be watching me, so I said
I only eat the orange ones.
My ride arrived, and I left.
P.S.
In reality, I snatched nothing and ate nothing.

(4,483 posts)your p.s. It's a wonderful story right up to that point. I think you ought to edit it out, but then, there's probably something wrong with me, too.

(2,226 posts)Wrong way on a one way street. I totaled my car and hurt myself and the other driver and car. I have never had a ticket or accident. I am in my sixties. I had flown all day from oregon to home. I had just got into town when this happened. I remember nothing from the whole day, traveling, flying driving, the crash. Nothing. Something is wrong with me , but I dont know what.

(14,537 posts)There is nothing wrong with you. It is common for the brain to black out traumatic experiences. Sometimes the memories come back, sometimes not. Either way don't worry over it. Talking with a professional therapist may help.
