Trump defends the government response in Puerto Rico the day after Puerto Rico raised its death toll from Hurricane Maria to 2,975.

"I think we did a fantastic job in Puerto Rico ... I think most of the people in Puerto Rico really appreciate what we've done." (via ABC)



After Hurricane Maria, Trump’s inhumane response that resulted in 2,975 US citizen’s deaths:

I don't expect him to have any empathy. However, is there not one person, not one, just one person in this administration that knows better. Not one, person that could have issued a statement showing remorse for the immense loss of life.

electricity to almost everyone. No thanks to the Federal Government.

The hurricane hit in Sept of last year.

and what purpose you're working towards. I mean, did the 9/11 hijackers do a "good job"? I imagine a number of enemies of the U.S. were pretty well pleased...if you assume Fuckface's actual goal is to destroy America and demoralize the population...well....

and the federal response to that tragedy was FAR superior to Trump's botched handling or PR. The fact that Trump chastised Puerto Rico for not paying its bills only makes the situation more horrid.
