How they will LOVE their brothers and sisters who are different from them
in that great Awakening. But for now... they want nothing to do with anyone who is not exactly like them.. how is that? How can someone say they embrace and love all people.. that we are all made in the image of GOD and yet..embrace hate of the "other".. and in so many things.. including race, gender, culture, even something as simple as language.
They will cleave the bible to their chests with one hand, raise the other to the heavens and declare we will be one someday in that great beyond.
If they truly believe we are all made in the image of GOD.. ( I certainly do) I have often wondered how the racists of the world will react when they look into the face of GOD and see Martin Luther King or the face of the Dali Lama .. I wonder if they ever stop and think about how they blaspheme against the very texts they hold so dear..
Just a curious wondering on a Wednesday morning from one self proclaimed Christian to others who are going 180 against the very thing they say they hold most dear..
Looks as if our current President is going to try and stoke a religious war.. White Evangelicals against all other Christian faith bodies.. Buckle up .. things are going to get very bumpy ..
