A frightening thought regarding Mueller.

Imagine what would have happened if someone lacking Mueller's ethical and moral fortitude had been appointed? Someone like Judge Kenneth Starr, for example, would have closed his investigation in a matter of weeks, and the republican traitors would yet again have gotten away with a host of crimes.

Yes, America was THAT close to Putin's republican supporters getting a cake walk instead of a perp walk.

I know it ain't over, but at least Mueller is taking his oath of office seriously, and his investigation will hopefully make those criminals think twice in the future before selling America out for a few gold coins.

I took a break for a while then returned after a bit of travel abroad. I visit DU often to catch news I don't get elsewhere, but I'm more likely taking the battle to the Q-Anon crowd in the comment section of right-of-center sites like DailyMail. It used to be mostly right-winger comments but I'm seeing a lot more counter-punches to their b.s. these days.

Thanks again!

Mueller and the people on his team are prepared for tRump to do this. Not only is their info secured but it is backed up and saved a zillion different ways. He also said that if it is tossed out or hidden we can expect a palette full of all the documents to land in front of the NY Times. Mueller hired patriots with morals and brains. We may have to wait longer for justice, but it will come eventually.

watched it twice. I also saw that hour and forty minute distinguished speaker event he did a couple days later, that was amazing and horrifying and real. He was visibly trying not to get emotional at a couple points and that was hard to watch as well. He's as concerned about this election as we are and he said so many times during the presentation.

The ACLU is just one of many places that needs volunteers. Pelosi was just on PBS and said, "Do anything you can: postcards, knock on doors, phone banks, etc. I am personally making sure my neighbor, who takes medication and is "out of it" a lot, gets her ballot mailed or I will take her to the polls myself. I even talked to three people at my dentists about the importance of their votes. Do anything that works for you since it all helps.

he's scammed everybody all the way to the top without consequence. And now that the whole world realizes he's scammed them and are pissed off about it, there's no place for his orange ass to hide. I'll bet rubles that pootie won't have him when he's kicked out of office. He's going to die in prison, and I hope his criminal family spend a bigly amount of time there too.

They have gotten away with their crimes as a matter of course. Look at how Pam Bondi dropped her office's investigation of Trump University after he made an illegal donation to her campaign. Ditto for Guiliani who dropped his investigation into Trump money laundering after trump raised money for Guiliani's campaign. That's part of the reason Trump is so outraged that Mueller won't let go. Trump has been convinced that he is truly above the law because that's how he has been treated it he past.
