I liked Gillums enthusiasm and not actually thought about voting for him.
But the most recent polls had Graham heading off Jeff Greene, the one candidate I did not want to see win. So I voted Graham to protect against Greene.
Its a trade off; Graham gave us a solid last name but Gillum gives us a fresh enthusiastic face.
Honestly Im just glad all three legitimate candidates (Gillum, Graham and Levine) handily beat Greene, who was the one candidate who went negative and who was far too much like Donald Trump for my liking.

(6,855 posts)I voted for Levine and actually thought he would pull the upset. Obviously, it was Gillum who ran the best statewide campaign. I think he will help Nelson win in November. We need huge turnout in Broward, duval, Hillsborough, Dade to keep Nelson. I see this as the most critical position.
One sure thing: big sugar lost tonight. DeSantis is better than Putnam.
