Rep. Swalwell: "If they know, why won't they investigate this shit?"

Rep. Eric Swalwell @RepSwalwell
Let me get this right: @HouseGOP went so far to make a list of objectionable conduct by @realDonaldTrump, are telling themselves this will be investigated by @HouseDemocrats, and that’s why GOP must stay in charge? Umm, so if they know, why won’t they investigate this shit?

Vox @voxdotcom
Instead of investigating Trump scandals, House Republicans made a list of all the Trump scandals they fear Democrats will investigate if they win this fall https://t.co/JgyOTZVATT

are complicit with Trump's crimes after the fact and should be brought up on RICO charges. If no one will file criminal charges then they should be sued on the grounds of Civil RICO charges if possible. That rich guy who keeps buying ads going after Trump should start looking at going after the member of Congress who are complicit with Trump.

the peoples business and just enjoyed the hell out of themselves enriching themselves, and their families and friends. To ignore all of this as Democrats and run away from impeachment and corruption is acquiescing to it and will be used against us. We HAVE to do this. We can't ignore it in the up coming elections. Govt is paid for by citizens taxes and it exists to serve US. Not the 'representatives". this is so bad. Every damn day.

for a while. He spent his entire show on this list, characterizing it as “the Democrats list” — a list the Dem Party has already put together — that will, get this, bring all actual governing and legislating to improve our country to a halt. He called the list a delusional set of conspiracies that we — the Dems — plan to focus on if we take over the House or the Senate “instead of doing things that benefit the country”. Then he hammered on “This is why we have to make sure we all vote.” He recycled through this fictional story repeatedly over the hour or so I listened returning to the bottom line that “we” (Rs, deplorable, etc.,) need to vote en masse to stop Democrats from destroying the country.

The deceit and projection are absolutely mind-boggling.

up as an issue and point out why didn't the republicans, the so called party of a secure and safe America, go after these items? The only thing I can think of why the republicans are ignoring these serious issues is that they are so desperate for power finally (and getting it by any means) that they overlooked it a lot of serious stuff (crimes even) to get it. I agree w/ one post in this chain that RICO perhaps should be used...

Nonfeasance: The intentional failure to perform an official duty or legal requirement.

They may have incriminated themselves by publishing their list and thus acknowledging how much work they failed to do. I would think some kind of lawsuit or something would be in order in addition to voting for their removal.
