It Is So Ironic Even Absurd That John McCain Was In A Party They Supported None Of His Values.

I simply do not understand how McCain could be a Republican based on the values he spoke of in his final farewell. The GOP stands for NONE of the values he stated. If anything they have been viciously and aggressively against them. And they have been trying to kill them.

Sure, he stopped the initial attempt to kill the ACA. But with his reliable pro-trump rubber stamp, he endorsed the massive tax cut for the rich which, as one of its provisions, undid most of what his seemingly-courageous ACA vote did.

Called for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. Wanted to prosecute doctors who performed abortions. Called Obama’s spending proposals “generational theft”. Supported CA Prop 8. Supported stronger sentencing across the board and thought the death penalty should be used more often.

The list goes on. He is one of them.
