The stages of leaving the house

Stage I: This is my favorite house in the whole wide world!

Stage II
IIa: I really enjoy the occasional whiffs of smoky odor here!
IIb: The constant smoky smell adds to the rustic charm of this place!
IIc: It's very common in old houses like this to see a little smoke now and then

Stage III:
IIIa: The house is a bit warm but that's to be expected in the summer
IIIa: The floors seem hot but what did you expect? They're floors!

Stage IV
IVa: I probably ought to call my handyman sometime soon about those flames in the bedroom
IVb: I still think it's better than Hillary's house
IVc: The front rooms are very nice but I'm staying out of the back rooms for now

Stage V
Va: I guess I'll step outside for some fresh air
Vb: If I didn't know better, I might say the house looks like it's burning

Stage VI: I fucking said over and over again that the fucking house was fucking on fire but nobody ever fucking listens to a fucking word I say

Stage VII: It was a shitty house and I never met anyone who would have wanted to live there
