imho, we'd all like to think this doesn't work. but i think it will. this is partly assisted by the way Trump's approval/disapproval numbers have ossified over the last 6 months or so -- that 40% has completely accepted and normalized him, and will support him eagerly no matter what. this evolutionary sequence has been provided by their various agitprop outlets to give them an easy way to represent themselves while doing so.
