It's fairly obvious that the Republican Party is destroying itself. They have become small and petty, as witnessed by the actions of their small and petty president. To follow such actions is the path of destruction.

Perhaps, we should stand back and give them more space? They do not seem capable of correcting course. They have made their decision and they are sticking with it.

They have become irrelevant to our lives. They cannot be victorious. They are doomed to reap what they have sown.

We would do best by not interfering with their foolish and quixotic fantasies.

2. I hope you are correct, but

remain very skeptical. The demise of the GOP has been suggested too many times to believe that this will occur. What I have seen, is it simply become worse and much more mean spirited.
